Released in the year 2001 ICISS Datalogger is fully Y2K compliant.
LSD
ICISS Datalogger utilizes the Sieko Liquid Crystal Display providing four information lines with twenty characters per line. Auto contrast regulation offers the maximum viewing clarity with an operating temperature range of -30C to +80C degrees.
BACK-LITE
Depress the back-lite key to provide LCD illumination for those dark early mornings and failing light evenings. "Smart-Lite" extends your site time by illuminating the LCD in 20 second time bites to conserve and manage power.
VOLTAGE RANGE AND ACCURACY
The ICISS Datalogger provides three voltage ranges to meet all the capability demands for CP surveys.
-300mV to +300mV, 10 microvolts resolution
-30V to +30V, 1 millivolts resolution
-300V to +300V, 100 millivolts resolution
C.P.U.
ICISS advanced precision technology employs the Z180 Zilog C.P.U..
INPUT IMPEDANCE
Selectable input impedance of 10 Megohm or 100 Megohm.
MEMORY
The operating firmware is stored on EPROM. ICISS firmware is updatable remotely to facilitate future program advancements. Data and information storage is on RAM with a standard storage capacity of over 200,000 readings. Data security is ensured through the employment of an onboard Lithium battery.
REAL TIME CLOCK
ICISS onboard real time clock maintains accurate monitoring of time/date stamps.
READ RATE
A/D converter is specifically programmed to measure 18 precision readings per second.
TRANSFER SPEED
ICISS Datalogger data transfer speed is 19,200 baud.
THREE DAYS OF POWER
Internal power is provided by a rechargeable 6V gel cell. ICISS power consumption during standard operation is 26mA. During sleep mode ICISS power consumption reduces to 6 micro amps. When using the back-lite display feature consumption is an additional 28mA. ICISS will operate for 30 to 40 hours before a battery recharge is required during normal surveys.
SMART POWER
Smart Power Software will keep you informed on your power consumption. An external port is provided for additional power requirements at remote sites during extended periods. ICISS will power down automatically when not in use.
ALPHA NUMERIC
A full alpha numeric 5x7 keyboard with man sized buttons, essential for those cold days when gloves are worn. For specific operations use direct command keys.
A.C. REJECTION
ICISS is designed for less than 10mV fluctuation when up to 50V induced a.c. is present on the pipeline. Select 50 Hz or 60 Hz rejection.
HAND HELD AND RUGGED
ICISS is built for the outdoors, with a full gasket sealed "T" shaped, hand sized, molded unit weighing 2.2 lbs. (1Kg). ICISS is is fully functioning no matter what the weather is doing. ICISS is supplied with a smart, durable navy blue carrying case, manufactured from marine quality, waterproof, U.V. stabilized, mild dew resistant, vinyl coated acrylic fabric, Gore-Tex lined, padded and finished with carefully selected quality hardware.
ON AND GO
Turn on and ICISS automatically configures the display potential and is waiting to go without further operator instruction. ICISS is ready to collect C.I.S. data in under 20 seconds of power on. It is as simple as entering start TS start distance and getting going. ICISS is always Test station ready. Just connect and collect.
SPEED READ
For those special tests or concrete surveys the ICISS Datalogger Speed Read Program will store data as fast as the operator decides.
DCVG
The ICISS DCVG Program enables the operator to complete automated DCVG surveys and C.I.S. concurrently utilizing the third ICISS Datalogger port.
ON/OFF SURVEY
Use ICISS onboard software to undertake C.I.S.. Utilize Soft Select to avoid the spike induction window. The program is designed to run with and/or without G.P.S. time synchronization
MIN/MAX/AVG
ICISS onboard programing will undertake stray current recording.
READ ALL
ICISS will store 18 accurate readings per second for operator selected time periods. Perfect for waveform analysis, interference tests and specially defined testing.
RANDOM READS
Use ICISS for simple location and data inputs.
SMART CLEAN
ICISS enables the operator to erase memory through a specific key sequence.
MEMORY GAUGE
On screen memory gauge provides a constant read out on volume of data collected.
DIAGNOSTICS
ICISS performs a full systems diagnostic at power up prior to operation.

ICISS will allow scanning of stored data and information upon operator demand.

G.P.S. READY OF COURSE
All ICISS Dataloggers are G.P.S ready to interface with location and time signals. The G.P.S. module fits conveniently into the OTL survey vest pouch or jacket pocket. ICISS has been configured to synchronize with the Garmin Etrex G.P.S. units which are readily available across the world.
HOT KEY
The "Hot Key" feature provides enhanced survey production by immediately returning the operator to the last program and settings.
CHART RECORD
ICISS provides several on board chart record programs which include timer circuits for pre programming start and end times. Smart Power minimizes power consumption during these operations.
